Drummer Danny Carey was interviewed by stick maker Vic Firth, and suggested that the band’s songwriting process was underway and revealed that they will be hitting the studio soon!
“Justin’s been really prolific on this record,” says the sticksman. “He’s been coming in with tons of riffs. I usually try to find something to complement it rather than play what he’s playing. We’re allowed to do that in our band since there is only three pieces really. It gives you a lot more space. I try to find angular things to against it, of course do the things the drummer needs to do… lead things into the next part, be the dynamic leader but it’s kind of confusing sometimes, especially with some of the riff those guys come up with sometimes, in 13 or 21 or whatever. We have one song in 17 that we’re doing now. It’s coming together though, I’m hoping we get in the studio by June or July and start tracking. That’s the plan anyway.”

Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie Announce “Twins of Evil” Co-Headlining Tour

from Revolver Magazine Online

The rumors were true! Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie will officially team up for the “Twins of Evil” tour, which will hit both the U.S. and Europe later this year.
“Finally! Why did the most obvious tour take so long to happen? Who knows? Who cares? It’s happening now,” said Rob Zombie in an official press statement. “If good taste is the chief enemy of great art, then we should be able to fill the Louvre with this fucking tour. Be prepared for something wicked this way a-coming.”
Marilyn Manson added, “I have sympathy for the Whore of Babylon that gave birth to these twins of evil, and this abomination of a tour. There is no babysitter, and there is no repairing her womb. If Rob Zombie doesn’t fuck you up, then I surely will. Hide all drugs and firearms…I’m coming to town.”
Support on the trek will come from Jonathan Davis, who will perform a DJ set as his alter ego, J Devil.
